Smokes
She inhales the night like it’s her last,The smoke curls up, a shadow cast.A cloud of nothing, a fleeting dream,Filling the void with silent screams.
Each drag, a memory left behind,A past that lingers, hard to find. The smoke, a veil for truths unspoken,A mask for hearts that have been broken.
Her lungs burn deep, her soul ignites,Chasing the ashes through endless nights. The smoke whispers secrets she can't forget,A love once lived, a soul once set.
She exhales the pain, the lies, the lies,Watching them dissipate, fade from her eyes. But it always returns, like a ghost untamed,Smokes rising, but nothing ever changed.
Her heart’s still heavy, but the haze feels sweet,A fleeting comfort, incomplete. And when the smokes clear, the silence screams—A broken heart stitched in smoky dreams.
